Our spring water comes from Big Springs Station, where it rises naturally in the foothills of the Flakney Ranges, around 30 kilometres south-east of Wagga Wagga in the NSW Riverina. The water is carefully extracted from a single source - not multiple locations like other spring water.

Big Springs is a family owned and operated business. Big Springs Station has been owned by the Wilson family for over 140 years, and the spring water business - established in 1994 - is run today by the Wilson family, including Pat Wilson's son Angus, with a close-knit local team of over 20 staff. Unlike brands owned by multi-national corporations, Big Springs is proudly locally owned.
Over six decades ago, Pat Wilson's great-great grandfather bought back the natural spring reserve from the government, put a well into the natural pondage, and noted in his diary that the natural spring water could have commercial value. That idea became reality in 1994. From 1994 until 2004 the water was bottled onsite at Big Springs Station, before growing demand led to a purpose-built factory and administration facility in Wagga Wagga in 2004.
Big Springs supplies a full range of spring water products and equipment for home and office, including: spring water in 15L returnable bottles, mineral water, water coolers, hot & cold water dispensers, water filters, dispensers & accessories, water bubblers and Wonder Wells water stations. Water cooler hire is also available.
Big Springs spring water is supplied in 15L returnable bottles (our Spring Returnable PET-HOD bottles). All 15L bottles are returned and thoroughly cleansed before being reused, so the lifecycle of every bottle is a closed loop.
Yes. Big Springs delivers spring water for both home and office, with water stations, coolers and hot & cold dispensers suited to households, offices and workplaces. Water cooler hire is available.
Big Springs Water is committed to recycling and looking after the natural environment. All 15L bottles are returned and thoroughly cleansed before being reused, the bottle lifecycle is a closed loop, and every effort is made to recycle all production materials.
